Caitlyn Jenner Leads Outrage Against Transgender Day of Visibility Falling on Easter

Caitlyn Jenner was among the leading conservatives condemning President Joe Biden's proclamation of Transgender Day of Visibility on Easter Sunday, March 31.
In a tweet, Jenner whined that "the only thing you should be declaring on this day is 'HE is Risen." And the outrage didn't stop there. Jenner claimed that making Easter share the Sunday with Transgender Day of Visibility was a "middle finger" to Christians.
"He uses religion when it's convenient for him... It's a shame that trans community is used like this," said Jenner.
The International Transgender Day of Visibility was created March 31, 2009, and has been celebrated since. The White House's proclamation was simply a formality in honor of the holiday.
In an announcement, Biden wrote, "Today, we send a message to all transgender Americans: You are loved. You are heard. You are understood. You belong. You are America, and my entire Administration and I have your back."
It was all about love and acceptance. But that hasn't stopped conservatives from claiming that Biden was somehow dissing Christians and Catholics.
Former President Donald Trump's national press secretary Karoline Leavitt called the proclamation "appalling and insulting."
"We call on Joe Biden's failing campaign and White House to issue an apology to the millions of Catholics and Christians across America who believe tomorrow is for one celebration only--the resurrection of Jesus Christ," she said.
The faux outrage continues.
