Eurail Launches First Mobile Pass For Paper-Free Travel

READ TIME: 1 MIN.

Whether you're traveling with a backpack on a budget or choose first class with wider seats and onboard perks, travelers have often turned to Eurail for their all-access pass to the best of Europe. And while some thought the old-school paper ticketing felt retro-cool, most of us have been eagerly anticipating the roll-out of the mobile pass.

The new alternative to Eurail's iconic paper passbook is now available for purchase online for Global and One-Country Passes.

Eurail travelers can access the all-in-one mobile pass through the Rail Planner App, offering even more flexibility for on-the-go experiences. In addition to housing the Pass itself, the Rail Planner App includes features to assist travelers throughout their experience, from planning routes to riding the rails across 33 European countries.

As a holiday bonus, Eurail Passes are 20% off now through January 4. Passes can be used within 11 months of purchase, and there's no obligation to select a start date for trips in advance. All Eurail Passes can be upgraded to Plus Passes, making each purchase 100% refundable and exchangeable.
