Hulu has renewed the gay teen drama series "Love, Victor" for a third season, Variety reports.

Season 2 hit the streaming service for Pride Month this June.

"Love, Victor," a spinoff of the 2018 comedy film "Love, Simon," takes place after the events of the movie and stars Michael Cimino as the titular high school student who has recently come out as gay. Season 2 follows Victor in junior year of high school where he navigates his love life with dating his crush Benji (George Sear) after breaking it off with his ex-girlfriend Mia (Rachel Hilson).

Cimino, who identifies as straight, recently opened up about playing a gay character, saying he received death threats for the role. Sear also opened up about the importance of "Love, Victor" for its young gay audience. Click here to check out EDGE's interview with him.
