When did Johnny Sibilly become Hollywood's leading out actor?
In just a short period of time, the 34-year-old has made his mark with roles ranging from Billy Porter's character's sick bf on "Pose," the hot Vegas water department employee on "Hacks," and a lawyer with messy relationships on the "Queer as Folk" reboot.
EDGE spoke with Sibilly recently about his role on the show along with co-star Devin Way.
Sibilly also recently spoke with Bustle about how much he loves doing "gay shit" as an actor. "Knowing that I have a chosen family in my life right now in 2022, both personal and professional, that would make little lonely Johnny smile wide," he said, addressing how his childhood self would respond to his success.
While other actors may shy away from gay roles, Sibilly embraces them. "I always say if I never played a straight character ever again, I would be perfectly fine with that," he recently told Out. "There's so many queer stories that haven't been told that I am dying to tell. It would be an honor to only play queer characters forever."
He also recently shared an underwear shot on Instagram that more than satisfied his fans.
